Women and Children's Health: Pediatrics
Children have always been dear to our hearts. Since our founding over 100 years ago, helping children mature into healthy adolescents and young adults has been one of our primary missions. Today, we have a full-time staff of pediatric specialists dedicated to keeping children and their parents well–and well informed. From our renowned Birck Family Women's and Children's Center to each hospital in the Midwest Region of the Adventist Midwest Health, we care for children as though they were our very own.
About Our Pediatric Services
- We encourage family involvement, including overnight accommodations for parents when children have to remain in the hospital.
- We feature a special intensive care unit for children recovering from surgery and other treatments. (Adventist Hinsdale Hospital only)
- We provide special treatment for severely ill children with high fevers and dehydration.
- Our staff of specially trained nurses and physicians have the most advanced pediatric equipment available today.
