Neurological Services: Rehabilitation
Post procedural/surgical care and rehabilitation are provided by an interdisciplinary team comprised of physical, occupational and speech therapy professionals. Specially trained therapists are available to provide the skilled interventions to assist with functional, speech and language or swallow recovery as needed. If additional post-acute care services are required then transfer to the Paulson Rehab Inpatient CARF Unit is available (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities), where the treatment team is directed by the physiatrist. The team partners with the patient and family to restore health and foster maximum functional independence. Together, with the rehab team, no one faces illness or disability alone. As recovery progresses outpatient or home therapy can be provided.
