Neurological Services a service of Brain and Nervous System

Dear Friends,

Over the last twenty years, Adventist Hinsdale Hospital has made a firm commitment to become a prominent leader and referral center in the treatment of patients with neurological disorders. Every several years, a new building block has been added to a sound foundation that now includes a dedicated Neuro Intensive Care, a neurological patient care unit staffed with trained nurses and every capability for the surgical treatment of brain tumors, aneurysms and spinal disorders. The addition of our new Endovascular Laboratory allows non-surgical treatment of aneurysms with coils, which has the potential for a shorter, safer hospitalization.

In the following pages, you will be introduced to the many complex services offered at our institution. Through the effort of physicians who have chosen to treat and admit patients to Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, its nurses and the hospital administration’s wise allocation of resources, we endeavor to offer our community and those referred from more distant areas the best in diagnostic, medical and surgical treatment. Our challenge is always to be a “cutting edge” institution in the neurosciences.
