Joel A. Brown, M.D., graduated from  Loma Linda University in 1976, completed Hinsdale Family Practice Residency in 1979 and is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.  After a three year stint in the USAF, Dr. Brown established an office in LaGrange where he practiced for eleven years.  Dr. Brown merged his practice Family Practice Associates in 1995.  He is married, has two sons and enjoys playing golf.

Lisa M. Fortman, M.D., is a 1989 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed her residency in Family Practice at Hinsdale Hospital.   Dr. Fortman, who is married and has two sons,  joined Family Practice Associates in 1992 and is certified by the American board of Family Practiace.  She enjoys cooking, walking and vintage films.

Charinne L. Thommen, P.A., is a 2002 graduate of Butler University's Physician Assistant Program.  The American Academy of Physician Assistants certifies Ms. Thommen who joined Family Practice Associates in 2002.  She is married and enjoys reading mystery novels, baking and hiking.
