G.I. Lab/Endoscopy - Endoscopic Procedures
Endoscopic procedures use a flexible lighted tube to view the inside of the body. Endoscopy is used to diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions including:
- Upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage
- Unexplained radiological findings
Unexplained signs and symptoms, including:
- Dysphagia
- Odynophagia (painful swallowing)
- Gastroesophageal Reflux
- Obstructing foreign bodies
- Upper abdominal pain
- Gastric ulcer, polyp or tumor
- Duodenal polyp or tumor
- Lower G.I. bleeding
- Diarrhea/Lower abdominal pain
- Rectal polyps or colonic polyps or tumor
- Obstructive jaundice
- Papillary stenosis
- Hemoptysis

Monday thru Friday 6:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.
One nurse is on call for emergency cases during closed hours.
