Cancer: Registry
In 1983, Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital instituted a Cancer Registry which maintains organized data on all our cancer patients. Through this, we can keep in regular contact with our patients after their treatment is completed. We share this data with the Illinois Department of Public Health, the American Cancer Society, and the American College of Surgeons. More importantly, the data is used to evaluate our treatment methods using comparative studies resulting in better and more effective patient care.
