La Grange Memorial Hospital Foundation: Who We Are

Leaders from the community serve the foundation by offering their experience and expertise. They provide essential counsel in fund raising, use of donated funds and financial investments. Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital is proud to have three community leaders as officers of its Foundation Board of Directors. They are Daniel Pancake, president; Jeanne Riley, vice president; and Lou Curotto, secretary/treasurer.

A 45-year La Grange area resident, Pancake is senior vice president of USI Insurance Services Corp., Chicago. He has been active in both state and national insurance organizations and has served as past president of the Rotary Club of La Grange, past chairman of the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce, and on several regional YMCA committees.

"Through personal experience with the hospital, I understand completely the importance of its quality perpetuation for all members of our community," said Pancake.

Reilly, a life-long La Grange area resident, is broker-associate with Smothers Realty Group, La Grange. She serves the community as a member of the Rich Port YMCA Board of Directors and as a member of the Executive Committee for the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University.

Reilly notes, "Having a son in medical school has raised my awareness that a strong hospital is so good for a community." Curotto, a 42-year La Grange resident is retired after a career with Shell Oil and Inland Steel. He also has served on the faculty of Keller Graduate School of Business and has served the community on the Board of Directors of Plymouth Place, Chicago Youth Centers, Community Nurse Health Association, St. Cletus Church, and the Operating Board of Adventist Midwest Health.

"The hospital has served me and my family with a Christian excellence that inspires me to contribute something back to the hospital," said Curotto.
