2007 Centennial Celebration

The Hinsdale Hospital Foundation will honor Dr. Francis Agnoli, recipient of the Physician Leadership Medallion and The Opler Family, recipients of the Community Leadership Medallion at the Centennial Celebration on February 3, 2007.  The black-tie dinner dance will be held in the Gold Coast Room of the Drake Hotel in Chicago. This special evening will also serve as the kick-off event for the Hinsdale Hospital Foundation’s $3.2 million campaign to bring Digital Breast Mammography to Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and the patients it serves. 

The Centennial Medallion, commissioned in 2004, commemorates Adventist Hinsdale Hospital’s 100 years of service and recognizes the support and leadership of individuals who have greatly contributed to the outstanding medical care provided by Adventist Hinsdale Hospital.  Recipients are chosen based on their contributions of both time and gifts to the Hospital and their community as well as their commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Adventist Hinsdale Hospital.

Bowling for Little Feet

The Hinsdale Hospital Foundation sponsored Adventist Paulson Pediatric Rehabilitation Center’s Bowling For Little Feet fundraiser on July 20th at Seven Ten Pin in Elmhurst.  Over $9,000 was raised and approximately 160 staff, friends and family attended the event, which was underwritten by Western Springs National Bank and Trust.  Local businesses and families also stepped forward to provide sponsorships, silent auction donations and ticket purchases.

The event benefited the Hinsdale Hospital Foundation’s “Little Feet, Big Hearts” program, which helps funds outpatient rehab visits for children in our community whose insurance has run out.  The program allows these children to receive the benefits of continuous rehabilitative care and therapy.

9th Annual Golf Classic

More than 110 golfers enjoyed the 9th Annual Golf Classic at Ruth Lake Country Club on May 22, 2006.    The event included lunch and dinner as well as prizes and awards.  This year's event raised over $40,000 to benefit the renovation of second floor patient care rooms at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital.  The north wing renovation will feature state-of-the-art hospital design for increased patient privacy and comfortable spaces for patients' families.
 

Annual President’s Circle Dinner Celebrates Philanthropy at Work at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital  

The Hinsdale Hospital Foundation President’s Circle members were honored at the annual President’s Circle Dinner on May 3, 2006 at the Hinsdale Golf Club. The evening’s program included guest speaker Dr. David B. Calandra, who detailed his experiences while on a medical mission trip to Ghana earlier this year.
Through their generous annual gifts, President’s Circle members impact the healthcare needs of the community. It is through their generosity that Adventist  Hinsdale Hospitalis able to purchase specialized medical equipment, provide enhanced clinical programs and support educational opportunities.
