La Grange Memorial Hospital Plans Facility Rejuvenation

Work on the $79 million La Grange Memorial Hospital renovation is progressing on schedule. Electrical and mechanical work is underway as part of phase one to expand the Central Plant, which houses the hospital's generator and cooling system. Groundbreaking for the five-story Patient Care Center is anticipated to start the second phase of construction in April 2004. Adventist Health System Midwest Region announced plans to revitalize the infrastructure of La Grange Memorial Hospital through a proposed 225,000 square foot addition last year. The Village of La Grange approved the planned unit development in March 2003.
