The Koplin Emergency and Trauma Center's highly qualified and experienced staff stands ready and waiting for life's unexpected events. From the occasional bumps and bruises to the most complex and life-threatening illnesses, our staff is committed to partnering with patients, families, and physicians to offer the services to get our patients back to their business of living full and productive lives.

The Koplin Emergency and Trauma Center is a Level II Trauma Center, meeting standards of care for both urgent and emergent traumas. Adventist Hinsdale Hospital has earned certification as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP) by the State of Illinois, demonstrating compliance with rigorous stands of quality, technology, education, staff qualification, and policies, with focus on the specific needs of infants, children and adolescents.

Compassionate care is provided 24 hours per day by qualified staff, including physicians who are Board-certified in Emergency Medicine, and by Registered Nurses with experience in emergency medical treatment and certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). State-of-the-art technology supports this team of compassionate caregivers.
